Maize Mamas

I have such deep reverence for the spirit of corn ~ they have held me during challenging transitional times, in my grief, and in my love for this world. I’ve felt called to honor them through visual creation for awhile now, and this piece has been a slow, beautiful process throughout the equinox and shift into Fall. Many, many hours of patience, warm cups of tea, and soothing tunes.

Thank you sweet mamas for all that you share, hold, and the medicine you give this Earth.
